Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Impaired Driving Prevention Project

Project PATH is committed to reducing alcohol and other drug impaired driving through education, training and community collaboration. The AOD Impaired Driving Prevention Project is currently focused in the cities of Costa Mesa, Garden Grove, and Orange. 

Media Campaign
"Choose Your Ride Wisely. Don't Drink and Drive" campaign materials are available as posters, vinyl banners, and retractable banners in English and Spanish.


Health Eductors are available to provide educational workshops for adult groups in the community. Workshops are available in English and Spanish and can be modified to fit your group's needs.

Topics include:
  • Alcohol and drug myths
  • Cost of a DUI
  • How to report drunk drivers
  • Law Enforcement efforts to reduce impaired driving
  • What you can do in your community
Responsible Beverage Service
Our Health Educators provide TIPS (Training for Intervention ProcedureS) responsible beverage service training. TIPS is a nationally recognized program designed to prevent intoxication, underage drinking and drunk driving. Tranings are approved by the California Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) and are offered at no cost to the establishment.
