Project FAITH In Youth

Strengthen the capacities of faith communities in Orange County to integrate alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention (ATOD) into their congregational programs by building on the structures and practices promoting positive youth development already in place.

Goals and Objectives
Empower youth in faith-based organizations by encouraging these protective factors: meaningful participation within the community, connectedness to the faith community, and positive relationships with their peers and trusted adults.

Target Populations
  • 12-17 year-olds in faith-based organizations throughout Orange County
We offer drug prevention resources, networking opportunities, and educational presentations to parents, youth ministers and other faith leaders. We also offer technical assistance to faith-based organizations who are planning and implementing substance abuse prevention activities.

Cities where we are working and providing services:
Garden Grove, Orange, Santa Ana, Tustin, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Lake Forest, Laguna Woods, Mission Viejo, Anaheim, Anaheim Hills, Stanton, …and all of Orange County.
