CSP's Families First Program is a program designed to treat at risk, Severely Emotionally Disturbed youth between the ages of 0 and 21 who are experiencing behavioral/emotional problems in their homes or school and may be in jeopardy of being removed from their current placement. Youth and their families are provided individual, group, and family therapy, social skills training, anger management and assertiveness groups, as well as other skill and psychodynamic groups which encourage positive interaction and self expression.

Outpatient and After School Treatment program
Group therapy is offered Monday through Thursday from 4:30- 6:30pm. Most youth attend group for 2 hours, 2-3 days a week
  • In office, in home, and at school Individual and Family Therapy
  • Psychiatric and medication support services
  • In home 1:1 intensive behavioral coaching
  • Parent education
  • Services in English and Spanish
  • 24/7 on call therapists
Eligibility - Families First provides services to youth who:
  • Have Orange County Medi-Cal
  • Self harm
  • Are aggressive and have anger issues
  • Have poor peer relations or fight with family members
  • Are truant from school
  • Are oppositional or defiant
  • Are anxious or depressed
  • Are hyperactive or who have ADHD
  • Have a history of abuse
  • Have other behavioral or emotional problems which impact peer, family, school or community relations
**Transportation may be available on an as needed basis
